Had a go for turbot or greater weever (Petermännchen) today but not much luck. Caught to small weevers but no specimen, biggest was 314gram. One on the fly, other one on mackerel.

Had a nice trip this evening with a friend fishing for turbot/weever/seabass. Only got a small turbot each but it beats watching TV anyday

I guess it will be a point of interest for many anglers, to know more about the coarse fishing in Norway.
Perhaps you can give us an overview about species, venues, license and rules etc. in the freshwater section of the Norway Forum.

Neue kamera- Pentax K20D-
This weekend I had my annual trip to some friends in Egersund. As always I started early to fish some roach on the way...... not exactly the conditions I was hoping for....

Ling is fantastic... this dinner made up for the whole day
Saturday- the big contest-trout fishing in a lake with good sized fish...... what can I say.. We got nada, Zero. Less than Zero as we left quite a lot of lures....
The locals were plentiful....
Sunday we were playing it "safe" in a snall lake with lots of carps....... yeah right.
Getting a decent bass was our only hope now....
My friend Øystein with the only catch of the weekend...
